Avalon at Twinbrook Station will serve as a buffer from the commercial development and high volume traffic along Twinbrook Parkway to the lower density residential developments along Halpine Road. In addition, there is an approximately 100-foot buffer between Avalon at Twinbrook Station and the nearby single-family homes along Halpine Road due to the city-owned 50-foot buffer and the public street (Halpine Road) right-of-way.
Among its other unique architectural features, the apartments at Avalon at Twinbrook Station will surround their own parking garage on all sides except for the abutting commercial parcel to where a 7-story office building is planned. This type of parking structure allows our residents to park directly on their own floor and does not visually impact the surrounding neighborhood.
